This acne-type rash develops at birth and/or between 2 and 4 weeks of age.

If longer than three months or if severe see your doctor (there is a form of baby acne called infantile acne, which typically affects babies 3–16 months of age and is usually more severe and consists of more lesions, hence it needs to be checked by your medical doctor. It may last a few weeks to a few months, but most cases usually resolve by age 3 years old).
