Aim:
To help to absorb the leakage of urine and provide products that can reduce the odour to prevent embarrassment.
Incontinence pads
These products will hold urine and also control odour (oral medicinal treatment is available from your medical doctor only as they need to further medical tests).
Sanitary towels are not suitable as they are not designed to hold and control the odour of urine.
Pants
These are like pants which hold urine and control odour (some can be washable).
All-in-one pants/pads with a plastic backing and adhesive patches to seal the sides.
Some men pads have products to fit over the penis and collect urine into a bag strapped to the leg.
Bed and/or Chair protectors
These are pads to fit on beds and chairs to old urine and control odour (some can be washable).
