What is it?

A rare metabolic disorder of fat metabolism (lipid storage condition) where new fat cells are created rather than existing one becoming bigger (as in pregnancy or young children), this then causes an unusual build of fat deposits around the neck and shoulder areas.

  • This condition is seen middle aged persons.

  • Massive deposits of fatty tumors (lipoma) located equally around the neck?
