What is it?

Unknown skin condition causing white patchy rash normally associated with patients with:

  • Weak immune system
  • Just before puberty
  • Menopause
  • It can affect the entrance of the vagina and anus in females and for males the tip of the penis.
  • This condition can keep on reoccurring with a range of symptoms from intense itching, discomfort and/or erosions/ulcers. that is complicated by permanent scarring of the affected areas.
The disorder is not contagious nor is it a sexually transmitted disease

  • When the immune sytem attack itself

Symptoms

  • Look at pictures, does it resemble to one‘s rash?
  • Distinctive appearance shiny red and then later shiny or dry white patches on the skin?
  • Distribution of rash maybe  a figure of 8 involving the penis/vulva and perianal area?
  • Small ivory-coloured slightly raised areas, which can join up to form white thin white crinkly patches on the skin patches?
  • Itchy skin?
  • Tiny yellowish horny plugs within the pale areas?
  • Surface of the spots can look like wrinkled tissue paper?
  • Skin breaks down or cracks?
  • Skin becomes tighter?
  • Difficulty in urination?
  • Difficulty in defecation?
  • Difficulty in intercourse?
