Buerger’s Disease

What is it?

The narrowing of the blood vessels and/or blood clot disorders and causes decreased blood flow to fingers and toes causing pain and skin rash and ulcers.

It is most common in areas of:

  • Orient
  • Southeast Asia
  • India and the Middle East

Cause

Symptoms

  • Fingers/toes look  pale (white) due to lack of blood flow?
  • Fingers/toes look blue due to lack of oxygen?
  • Feel numb and cold and is in pain especially in arms, flingers and/or legs and toes?
  • Cramping in legs and may cause one to limp?
  • Pain is moving to central parts of body?
  • One’s skin become red and has throbbing or tingling sensation when blood returning to area?
  • Feel condition is getting worse and no sign of improving even at rest?
  • Skin ulcers?
