What is it?

Rare but unique eruption of the mouth and skin folds (armpits and groin).


  • This condition usually develops in the age group 20-50 years although it has been rarely reported in children.
  • It is more common in males than females (3:1).

  • Large raised red pustules?
  • Crusting?
  • Eruption can develop and progress very quickly, over days?
  • May occur during flare up of ulcerative colitis and/or crohn’s disease?
  • Brown colored skin as the pustules heal?
