Dhobi Jock Itch (tinea cruris)

Dhobi or Jock Itch is a fungal infection known as tinea cruris.

  • It grows in the groin areas in particularly in most and warm environment.

Symptoms

Does one have:

  • Hot, red, sore and itchy and irritable rash?
  • Ring like appearance brown/red in colour with defined borders?
  • Skin flaky/peely or cracked?
  • Skin has folded, top of legs where the skin rubs with genitals?
  • Spread to lower buttocks or lower abdomen or both?
  • Is very sporty?
  • Wear a lot of tight clothing?
  • Exposed to a moist environment (i.e. gyms or in hot conditions)?
