What is it?

It is the damage to the tiny filters inside your kidneys (the glomeruli). It’s often caused by your immune system attacking healthy body tissue.

  • It does not usually cause any noticeable symptoms.
  • If your medical doctor believes you have this condition, the medical doctor will ask you to have a blood test and/or a urine test.
