What is it?

A rare inherited disorder when sugar galactose isn’t broken down in body and there is too much galactose in the blood.


Diagnosis test

  • Diagnosis is made usually within the first weeks of life in follow-up to new born screening, which is a blood test from a heel prick offered to all new born.
