What is it?

Once a body temperature reaches 40 degrees Celsius or higher, heatstroke can set in.

  • Indicators are similar to heat exhaustion but the person may lose consciousness, have dry skin and stop sweating.

Look out for signs of heat exhaustion (If so seek medical advice)

Persons on medications shown below may not realise they are having heat exhaustion/heat stroke as they can mask those symptoms:
