What is it?

Where fatty layer is eroded away causing a sore heel.

Cause

  • High heels
  • Foot posture
  • High foot impact i.e. running, dancing, walking barefoot
  • Flat feet
  • Progeria

Symptoms

  • Aching, painful muscles, muscle cramps/spasms/stiffness?
  • Joint and stiffness pain?
  • Feels like a bruise and/or a deep dull ache on the heel?
  • Pain is in the middle/centre of the heel?
  • Where fatty layer is eroded away on heel particularly in women who wear high heeled shoes?
