What is it?

A filiariasis type parasite infection caused by a certain infected mosquitos: Culex species.

  • It can occur anywhere in the world.

Cause

  • Parasite: Dirofilaria species

Symptoms

  • Flesh coloured to red nodules (hard skin) develops on head, neck, arms, breast, scrotum and legs?
  • Burning?
  • Itching?
  • Painful?
