What is it?

Bacterial infection occur in sterile parts of the body (mouth, intestines, bladder, vagina, eyes, ears, lungs) or where the ‘bad bacteria over takes the good bacteria’ or when rarely when good bacteria grows rapidly.

Bacterial infection can occur when the immune system is weak by disease, medication, age, family history and nutritional status
